Located only 8 minutes north of Fort St James, we offer easy site access and plenty of free, safe parking for personal vehicles, large trucks, and RV's. There is also plenty of room for tenting on this 6.5-acre property.
Anja’s utilizes a former Logging Camp with over 40 single-bed rooms, common Men’s shower- and bathrooms, 2 separate Ladi
Located only 8 minutes north of Fort St James, we offer easy site access and plenty of free, safe parking for personal vehicles, large trucks, and RV's. There is also plenty of room for tenting on this 6.5-acre property.
Anja’s utilizes a former Logging Camp with over 40 single-bed rooms, common Men’s shower- and bathrooms, 2 separate Ladies bathrooms with showers, a 30-seat dining room and a kitchen that is open to guests from 12am to 8pm (or as needed by our guests) every day. We prepare delicious Canadian and European cuisine.
Our dining room is open 24/7, guests have access to sandwiches, baked goods, drinks, and fresh coffee or tea at all times.
We accommodate work crews, tree planters, fire fighters, sports teams, loggers, families, and lone travelers. We love children, and pets are welcome, too!
Our guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and, for a small fee, laundry service. Most rooms have a mini fridge, and all have Smart TV`s. We are constantly working to improve our services, Chrome Casting devices for all rooms are now installed!
We are looking forward to your stay with us and will do our very best to make you feel welcome and cared for!

It has been an exciting and eventful first year at Anja’s Motel & Meals.
Despite staffing shortages, equipment failures, human drama, severe sleep deprivation and some blissful ignorance on my part, it’s been a success!
My Team & I are deeply thankful, and we’ll do our very best to make your stay even more comfortable in 2025.

We are happy to inform you of some upgrades to our Camp:
-- Brand-new memory foam mattresses for each room arrived on December 04, 2024
-- 12’x25’ recreation room, built from solid Fir by Chad’s Team at Nextech, Fort St James, furnished with reclining seating, an electric fireplace, and a 65” TV.
--New outside LED lighting installed.
-- New locks & keys for all bunkhouse rooms, installed.
-- coming in May 2025: Security Cameras and 22 new TVs with casting/streaming capability, and an upgraded Starlink Wi-Fi system.

Moving into 2025, our booking-, and billing process will be efficiently streamlined. We will reopen to the public by mid April and plan a “Fresh Donut Day” for Fridays in town.
